Acida Software is now using XOOPS for it's site for their newest game in developement, DayDawn Online. We've being trying several solutions, like WordPress, SMF and PHPbb but those simply couldn't achieve what we wanted, so we turned to XOOPS, and it hasn't disapointed us
The site runs XOOPS 2.3 Beta, and is running several modules: * the Contact module * NewBB * the News module * Protector * ThAdmin * XoopsPolls and several currently not used modules: * WordPress for XOOPS * MyTabs
We're using a few themes, and 3 of them are costumized: * Pop_black2 * Firefox * Pixelgreen And the others are: * Zetagenesis * Default
To celebrate its first anniversary, Xoops4Noobs.fr offers an update to its content and some news.
Updates
Several sections of the site have been updated: • Learn Xoops : 4 articles on Xoops, the modules, the themes are updated • Downloads : pdf new record, module myTabs of Trabis (currently 59 resources) • Xoops Links: adding new sites Xoops (83 links including 29 offering Xoops themes) • Contacts : adding new forms to transmit your info about Xoops
News Two new entries: • Themes Xoops : organized by "generation" of themes, screenshots provide an immediate glimpse of the theme. A demo link is available for each theme. Sometimes php portals are not suitable for personal web pages, small bussines pages, music band pages. So we created this theme for a rock band from Turkey. It’s just like a html site but using the advantages of php for user registration, news, downloads and guestbook sections. The band can send email messages to the registred band and the fans can be notified automaticaly about new concerts, new albums or new downloads added to the site.
This is a simple graphing system for system visits and usage, it will be extended further in the future but I hope you like this simple graph. You will need to add the block to the pages you want it to track the usage on.
With XOOPS Usage Graph you can follow the progress of your Xoops Usage with visits and click with this useful tool. This module requires the XOOPS Framework version of 1.35
This also tracks is integrity which should never drop below 100% unless you have some form of paranormal activities happening within your domain which in this graphs early stages of deployment we even noticed there was in our system.
This will display a graph over selectable range of hours which will show you the user usage of your system.
What's New
Well I have added an option so you can select over a period of weeks you can choose when it drops the records from the history. I have also added Filled Line Graphs and Bar graphs, as well as adding an option to turn off the block usage marking.
Well Mamba has asked me to make an industrial strength version of the multixoops which I will be doing in my co-operatives ersity networks site, this will also need to include a complete policy management system which will also use this trawling method to ban people that cause system usage integrity issues.

The new Xoops DHTML Hack V2.5 for Xoops V 2.0.18.1 has been released. The new version has fixed some bugs on the movie section (ytube). The new version carries features like adding alt tag to IMG , align text etc ..

x-Cake is the Rapid Development Suite for PHP Applications, it is stable release 1.2 of cakePHP modified to work in the modules section of xoops. You can simply change the dirname and path address and make your own modules with this version of CakePHP for XOOPS.

With some configurations of PHP, it was not possible to access the different parts of the module's administration. This version corrects the problem and you should now be able to access all the parts of the administration.
